Today I’m here to tell y’all ‘bout the most gangsta’ missile crisis of all
Uh

Well
The Cuban Missile Crisis was a thirteen day
Period after a United States spy plane
Spotted missiles in Cuba being built by the Soviets
JFK saw ‘em but didn’t want nobody to know it
After getting advised on the missiles, probably for days
JFK decided on a naval blockade
So the Soviets couldn’t bring in more supplies
JFK ordered destruction of the missiles and sites

October 22nd, JFK goes on tay-vay
Tells the public ‘bout the crisis in a televised way
Mr. Khrushchev’s response at the time was unsure
But the US and Soviets both knew that this could mean war
So both countries decided they would end the ordeal
Soviets dismantle missiles in exchange for a deal
By the United States that they would not invade Cuba
And there was another deal that nobody knew a-
bout where the US from Turkey removed their nukes
And though the Cuban crisis ended the superpowers still duked
That’s the story of the missile crisis, like it or not
